The 2026 World Cup has entered the record books before the round of 16 has even got underway, with this year's tournament officially becoming the highest-scoring edition for own goals in competition history.

With 549 participants, Snapple officially set the Guinness World Record at Boston Harborfest Thursday night for “Largest Ice Tea Toast” at the same time. Attendees assembled at Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park where the official tea toast took place at 6:56 p.m., according to a Snapple spokesperson.
